Work-study opportunity: Production Assistant
Les Ardentes, Europe's largest hip-hop festival and a must-see event on the international hip-hop scene, is looking for a motivated production assistant to help organize and ensure the success of its next edition.
Main responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the production managers, the candidate will be trained and will assist the teams in various tasks within the production department:
- Participation in the preparation, coordination, and development of the festival across various departments
- Administrative assistance
- Searching for suppliers, requesting quotes, analyzing bids received, and following up
- Participation in various production meetings
- Contributing to the on-site setup and smooth running of the festival.
The list of tasks is not exhaustive and may evolve according to the needs of the festival and the skills developed by the work-study student.
Required profile:
Education: University or specialized school education (event management, production, cultural management, etc.).
Type of contract: Apprenticeship or professional training contract (duration to be defined)
Location: Liège, Belgium (presence in Liège mandatory for periods spent at the company)
Start date: September 2025
Schedule: 3 weeks at the company/1 week at school OR 4 days at the company/1 day at school OR another schedule different from 3 days at the company/2 days at school
Soft skills: Organizational and prioritization skills, ability to work well in a team and on a variety of topics, good interpersonal and writing skills, ability to manage stress and unexpected events, autonomy and initiative, responsiveness.
Previous experience in cultural or event project management is an asset.
IT: Very good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel
Language: Fluent French (written and spoken), comfortable on the phone and in writing. Knowledge of English or Dutch is a plus.
Other:
A driver's license and a vehicle are a big plus.
Applicants must be available for the two weeks prior to Les Ardentes and during the festival (June 15 to July 6).
