Over & Over is an immersive listening experience that draws from the eclectic musical influences of brothers Carl and Renaud, which trace back to their childhood in Normandy, facing the island of Jersey. Inspired by the French Touch and the indie rock waves of the BBC that they tuned into during their youth, they have managed to extract the best of these sounds to create an innovative and playful tone throughout their EP. With Jersey, they affirm their unique position within the global electronic scene.
Jersey has stood out for the contagious energy conveyed through their video content, whether filmed in their Parisian bedroom or during live sessions where synths are smashed and lamps are shaken with frenzy, making it hard to resist joining the party they bring.
Innovation has always driven their creation. By mastering technological tools for both their music and visuals, Jersey has shaped a unique sound universe, playing with the traditional codes of their musical influences.
After the warm reception of their first EP The World I’m Searching For and a sold-out world tour, the two brothers have released three new tracks: "Over&Over," "Ghost Of What Could Be," and "I Need For Speed," while preparing to offer their audience a new sonic experience with their second EP Over & Over.
In their quest for renewal and creative freedom, Jersey has worked on the textures of their vocals and produced more radical tracks with different formats and tones, such as “Giant Cotton Balls” and “Colors Turn Grey,” aiming to evoke new emotions through their art.
This new project is accompanied by a live session illustrating this emotional journey, which will be available upon the EP’s release on October 11.
