Laylow

In the silence of Toulouse nights, he was already imagining worlds. Laylow has never been a simple rapper: he's the architect of a parallel reality that he's been shaping over the past 10 years through his musical and video projects. A world established at the frontiers of digital culture, science fiction and unknown fragments.

In 2020, Trinity stands out and sets a radical scene: immersed in a dystopia, Laylow will never do anything like the others, and from now on, thanks to this project, everyone knows it. On March 6, 2020, he asserted his stage ambitions at the Olympia, unveiling a set design that resembled a digital odyssey.

In 2022, L'Étrange Histoire de Mr Anderson transcends genre boundaries. Inspired by the films of Tim Burton, Laylow unfolds a modern fable in which man confronts his demons, trapped in a world he no longer controls. Between melancholy and hope, he explores isolation, self-denial and the eternal quest for self.

Each project is an immersive adventure. Nothing is left to chance: from the enigmatic visuals to the polished production, everything is designed to immerse the listener in a parallel universe. Alongside him, his faithful acolytes, such as Osman Mercan, create images to match his sonic ambitions.

On stage, Laylow becomes an alchemist: on March 11 and 13, 2022, he bewitches 34,000 spectators at his two Bercy concerts, transforming the arena into a theater of his imagination.

The audience travels into a dimension where music becomes light. One tableau follows another, the sets multiply, the dancers come and go, and then the black eagle appears like a star, in a show that many agree will go down in history.

Then it's off again.

Two years of silence.

Two years of fine-tuning his comeback, anchoring himself in the essence of his art. Innovation and audacity were the watchwords. Laylow, always in the vanguard, continues to chart his course, guided by a single star: that of creative freedom.

It's never been a question of following the rules, but of reinventing them.
