The minimum age to be able to volunteer at Les Ardentes is 16.
The minimum age for volunteering at Les Ardentes is 16, but some positions require you to be at least 18.
CAN I CHOOSE MY POSITION AND HOURS ?
On the platform, you can indicate a job preference. They will all be described there. We'll do our best to respect your choices, but we can't make any promises. As far as working hours are concerned, they are fixed. You must be available from July 2 to 7. However, you are entitled to one evening off to attend a concert.
CAN I HAVE THE SAME JOB AND HOURS AS MY FRIENDS?
When you register, you can mention in the comments that you would like to work with friends and name them (within reason). In this case, we may not be able to accommodate your job and evening off preferences.
WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES IF I DON'T COMPLETE MY MISSIONS, IF I'M LATE FOR THE SITE OR IF I CAN'T COME AFTER REGISTERING ?
If you are late or absent, you must inform your supervisor as soon as possible. Without a legitimate/acceptable reason, we will deactivate your access on your chip and cut your day bracelet. You will not be able to access the festival.
HOW CAN I GET TO THE FESTIVAL SITE FROM LIEGE?
Shuttles will be available from the center of Liege to the festival site. We invite you to consult our website for all questions concerning mobility.
CAN I CHANGE MY POSITION AFTER I REGISTER?
Due to high demand, it will not be possible to change positions after you register (with some exceptions).
WHAT ARE MY PRIVILEGES AS A VOLUNTEER?
As a volunteer, you'll enjoy access to the festival, as well as drinks, snacks and activities reserved for the volunteer area.
HOW MANY HOURS WILL I WORK PER DAY?
It all depends on your job. Breaks vary between 4.5 and 6 hours a day.
WILL I RECEIVE TRAINING BEFORE I START?
It depends on your position. Some information will be communicated to you via your documents on the Qoezion platform. If this is not the case, we'll explain your tasks on site on the day of the event.
WHO CAN I CONTACT IN CASE OF A PROBLEM OR EMERGENCY?
You can contact the volunteer managers via the messaging system on the Qoezion platform. A Whatsapp number will also be available during the festival.
HOW DO I KNOW MY WORKING HOURS?
Your working hours will be posted in your personal space on the Qoezion platform and we will communicate them to you when you arrive at the accreditation area each day.
CAN I STAY AT THE ARDENTES CAMPSITE?
You will have the opportunity to reserve a pitch at the campsite from Wednesday July 2 to Monday July 7 at a cost of 45€. You will receive instructions on how to make this reservation once your volunteer application has been accepted.
HOW ARE PAYMENTS MADE AT THE FESTIVAL?
Since 2022, all payments are made via a cashless system. On site, top up your cashless by scanning the QR Code on your wristband chip with the Payconiq by Bancontact app (if you have a Belgian bank account) or with the Les Ardentes app.
You can also use the cash desks and top-up terminals on site and at the campsite.
