Coming from a classical training at the conservatory (cello and piano) and musicology studies at the University of Paris, Matou also bathed very early in hip hop. Multi-instrumentalist, he plunges us into a universe tinged with his various influences. He also acts as a DJ and accompanies on stage some big names of the French rap scene such as PLK, Chilla, Kikesa, or Youssoupha.
In 2020 he released his project "Elixir" with the label Orfèvre and Island Def Jam, and gathered around him twenty renowned artists.
Back in the studio despite his omnipresence on the stages of theaters and festivals, the polymorphic composer has just unveiled volume 2 of his Elixir, once again surrounding himself with the most fashionable artists of the moment.
