Zéphir, the 25-year-old independent rapper, was omnipresent in his adopted city: Lille. With his unique style, natural charisma and spellbinding flows, the Gabonese-born rapper has combined influences to shape an artistic universe inspired by the environments in which he has lived, to create authentic music that will leave a lasting impression. Like many of his contemporaries, he chose to use his surname as his stage name from the outset, far removed from fictitious inspirations. The Lille-born rapper has made his own choices and is a natural member of this new generation of artistically autonomous rappers, in control of both their music and their image, with a desire to popularise new words through their tracks.
