Maes was born on January 10, 1995 in Villepinte (Seine-Saint-Denis) but lives in Sevran in the same department in the northern suburbs of Paris. He started rapping at the age of fourteen. It was during a short incarceration in 2016-2017 that Maes matured his artistic project with the mixtape Réelle Vie. 

He released his second mixtape Réelle Vie 2.0 in 2018 and was spotted. In July 2018, the single "Billets Verts" brought Maes his first public success. Ideally launched, the album Pure is released in November 2018 and is certified gold record shortly after. In 2022, it was with the 3rd part of the mixtape Réelle vie that he regaled his fans. The series "Réelle Vie" is directly inspired by the journey of Maes and tells the key moments of his life. His childhood, his neighborhood, his troubles... We discover his journey to become a star.  

He promises us an album full of collaborations and 20 tracks long, just to warm you up before this summer's event!
