DISKO DRUNKARDS (Disco/Funk - BE)
Disko Drunkards are the love child of famous Gent duo The Glimmers. After playing all over the world and remixing Bloc Party, The Killers, New Order and Roxy Music, they are set to launch a live show based on their DJ sets which are as much fabulous as they are eclectic and have ensured their reputation throughout the international scene. Musically, we witness a cross between the raw energy of the White Stripes, the urban jungle funk of Liquid Liquid and the disco-house label DFA. They earned their stripes with their cover of Olivia Newton-John's Let's Get Physical which immediately became a huge dance floor hit. Disko Drunkards are considered to be they dream team of the Belgian rock scene and invite dEUS drummer Stéphane Misseghers and Millionaire leader Tim Vanhamel to join them in both the studio and on stage.
